Korea NHII EHR Seminar, Oct 31 @Seoul
 
The “Next Generation Electronic Healthcare Record and ROI for Healthcare Information Technology” seminar was held in Seoul, Korea on Oct 31. This event was organized by the Korea Society of Medical Informatics (KOSMI) and the Center for Interoperable Electronic Health Record (CiEHR), and sponsored by GE Healthcare, EMC and Intel. The seminar featured keynote speaker Dr. Stanley Huff, the Chief Medical Informatics Officers from Intermountain Health, who shared with Korea Ministry of Health officials and over 100 healthcare IT experts how GE and Intermountain partnership in developing the next generation EHR will deliver higher quality patient care with lower healthcare cost. Clarence Wu, General Manager of IITS Asia also shared with the audience our “Early Health” vision and experience from other countries in developing regional healthcare IT infrastructure projects. Great job by the Korea IITS team in supporting the organization of this event and showcasing GE products during the seminar.
