Japan: GE Healthcare Hosts Lunchtime Seminar at Japan Circulation Society (JCS) Congress
The JCS Congress, which was held in Osaka, Japan from 19th - 22nd March 2009, was an excellent opportunity to promote Centricity® Xi2 in Japan, and GE Healthcare spared no effort in ensuring the success of our participation.
Dr. Ralf Birkemeyer from Schwarzwald-Baar-Klinikum Villingen-Schwenningen, a university teaching facility in the south west of Germany that performs a complete range of cardiology services while specialising in Acute PCI procedures, was specially flown in to speak about the clinical and financial benefits of Xi2 to an eager Japanese audience.
The lunchtime seminar, which was attended by more than 120 customers and titled ”What are the clinical and economic benefits of cardiology IT?”, saw Dr. Birkemeyer's optimism for the powerful solution providing an excellent testimony to Centricity® Xi2 as an invaluable tool in optimising both clinical care and operational management.
In addition to the presentations, Dr. Birkemeyer also demonstrated how he could remotely access his system to update himself on the activities of his department before meeting with Japanese Xi2 users to discuss their experiences.
Apart from Dr. Birkemeyer's speech, the lunchtime seminar also included a very informative presentation on GE’s HD750 CT solution. |
