GE Healthcare Introduces New Web-Based Diagnostic Viewer With Workflow Integration And Streaming Technology For Hospitals In Asia
GE Healthcare has released in Asia Centricity® PACS Web Diagnostic (WebDX), a new Web-based diagnostic viewer that is tightly integrated to Centricity RIS/ PACS and will enable diagnostic integration anywhere over the Web. Web DX uses the powerful engine from PACS IW, which has received the prestigious 2008 Best in KLAS -- PACS award, to connect directly to a Centricity PACS 3.0 database and enable radiologists to view and perform complex image manipulations. Web DX also provides an enterprise-wide archive using state-of the art EMC storage technology for access to any type of image in one complete platform while seamlessly integrates with RIS and EMR solutions to reduce paper usage.
