Japan: 5 Centricity® Web DX Sites go live in Japan for Q2 2009 The second quarter of 2009 marks a significant milestone for GE Healthcare in Japan as Teikyo University, St Luke, Keiyu, Hokushin and Komoro hospitals have all gone live in Japan with Centricity® PACS Web Diagnostic (DX) during this period. With rich, Web-based imaging and viewing capabilities that combine workflow integration and streaming technology, these Japanese hospitals now enjoy the freedom to collaborate and view information, anywhere, anytime.

Malaysia : Centricity® PACS-IW live at USM The Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) went live with its deployment of Centricity® PACS-IW recently, capping the first full-deployment success of Centricity® PACS-IW within the ASEAN region since its launch. With its new PACS-IW capabilities, the 731-bed HUSM, which is based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, hopes to increase its current 70,000 diagnostic volume.
India: Mazimizing medical service levels in Northern India with GE Centricity® PACS GE Healthcare is proud to announce that India-based Max Healthcare has turned to a complete Intel® Xeon® processor-based Centricity® PACS solution for their Saket facility as part of their IT ramp-up strategy to automate their image reading and reporting workflow. The deployment, which consists of GE Centricity® EA 3.0 PACS and Centricity® Enterprise Web 3.0 solutions, will ultimately expand the digital headroom for Max Healthcare to respond to its operational challenges in the face of medical advances and industry demands, allowing the hospital chain to continue its rapid growth while delivering quality care to its patients.
India: CPACS Upgrade and RISI order for India's largest PACS site GE Healthcare could not be more pleased to announce India’s largest HCIT deal of Centricity ® PACS upgrade with Centricity ® RISi order from CMC Vellore, one of the oldest medical colleges in India. Besides also being one of India's largest and most reputed hospitals, CMC Vellore performs over 450,000 filmless diagnostic procedures per year and until now, had been using CPACS 1.0. With this upgrade, CMC Vellore will be moving to 3.0 PACS along with RISi 4.2, making this the first RISi install for India.
