GE Partner Intel presents webinar: "The Advanced Shanghai Electronic Health Record & Health Information Network Integration Model"
The Intel Digital Health SOA Products Group jointly presented a Shanghai health information network integration case study with B-Soft, one of the largest healthcare informatics providers in China. Over 300 healthcare providers from around the globe tuned in to learn about one of the most advanced healthcare network deployments in China that touches 1,400 hospitals. The Shanghai solution will establish an electronic health record for each of the areas 2.5 million citizens. The project is the first to implement an advanced longitudinal model covering cradle-to-grave healthcare data management. The solution will connect over 12 big hospital and government medical agencies with SOA based access to other large health information networks. Technology discussion includes an overview of an advanced meta-data management system and high performance data exchange engine.

Barco sells pioneering PACS displays to one of South-China's largest cancer centers
Barco has landed a significant contract to deliver PACS display systems to the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in Guangzhou, China as part of the Cancer Center's large-scale IT upgrade process. With the deployment of Nio Fusion and Coronis Fusion large-screen display systems, physicians at the Cancer Center can now visualize various clinical modalities on a single, large-screen diagnostic display station without the hindering central bezel that has been typical of a traditional PACS display setup.
