St. Luke's International Hospital In Tokyo Installs Barco's Latest Multi-Modality Displays
Medical imaging specialist Barco has received a significant order from GE Healthcare to supply Coronis Fusion 6MP DL diagnostic displays to St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo, Japan.
The new 6 MegaPixel displays will enable radiologists to visualize diverse clinical modalities on a single workstation, rather than on separate monitors and will be supplied through Toyo Corporation, Barco's local distributor in Japan.
In addition to the multi-modality Centricity® PACS displays, St. Luke's will also deploy the Barco Coronis 5MP Mammo system, a dedicated display solution for digital mammography and other modalities such as MRI, CT and Ultrasound.
"Both GE Healthcare and St. Luke's International Hospital are convinced that Barco's latest multi-modality displays complement the hospital's recent Centricity® PACS deployment perfectly," says Clarence Wu, Vice President and General Manager of GE Healthcare IT, Asia Pacific. "With the Barco Coronis Fusion 6MP DL and 5MP Mammo system running alongside our powerful Centricity® PACS for acute and ambulatory care, St. Luke's will now be able to extend its cutting edge in medicine and technology with picture-perfect visual clarity.
